Prof. Dr. Kamaruzaman Bin Yusoff
Kamaruzaman Yusoff is a professor of Modern Middle Eastern Studies at the Faculty of Islamic Civilization, UTM. He was a former dean of the Faculty of Islamic Civilization. Kamaruzaman has taught various courses including Science, Technology and Mankind, Tamadun Islam and Tamadun Asia, Philosophy of Science and Technology and Science and Technology Thoughts. He also supervises both Masters and PhD students in various subjects related to the Middle Eastern affairs. He was editor to many published books and has published numerous articles, and is currently the Chief Editor for Umran, an International Journal, published by the faculty. His research interests include modern politics of the Middle East with special reference to Israel-Palestine conflicts, Arab Springs as well as developments in Turkey, Syria, Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia. He is one of the most refereed scholars on the subjects by several tv channels in Malaysia.
