SITE SAFETY, HEALTH AND SECURITY AT WORK SEMINAR

INTRODUCTION
The workplace safety, health and security has become one of the most important integral elements of site risk management. Securing workplace facilities from hazards or threats should be emphasized especially in manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, electronic and others economic facilities. In Malaysia, the site security mainly focus on the cases involving robbery, trespassing, fights, etc. and very little attention is given to more serious site security issues such as terrorist attack, toxic releases, chemical weapon, riot etc. Too often, security decisions are made without a clear understanding of the threat, risk, & vulnerabilities that impact a business and its assets. This seminar has been designed specifically to enhance participant knowledge on the theoretical and practical aspect of risk, threat & vulnerability at workplace. Therefore, this seminar intended to improve knowledge and understanding on site security and assesses your company ability to apply counter risk, threat & vulnerability and apply the security planning knowledge to real-life situations.

OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course:
A Participants will understand and appreciate the standard SOP for managing site security at workplace
Participants will be able to identify the risk, threat & vulnerabilities and best practices on control measures
Participants will understand the role and responsibilities in Emergency Response Plan
Participants will be exposed to the strategies of self-defense or response for real cases through demonstration
