LET'S FACE THIS CHALLENGE TOGETHER

How Did Corona Virus Spread ?

The way in which the novel COVID-19 coronavirus is transmitted from individual to individual is through droplets from the nose or mouth that are spread when a person infected with COVID-19 coughs or sneezes. These droplets are attached to objects and surfaces around them. Other people who touch this object or surface are at risk of getting COVID-19 infection when they touch their eyes, nose or mouth after touching a contaminated surface / object. A person can also be infected with COVID-19 if they are close to a COVID-19 patient who coughs, sneezes or speaks at close range. That is why it is very important to maintain a distance of at least 1 meter from the person with symptoms.
MOH is constantly monitoring the development of this infection and updating the disease information on the MOH website. The public is advised to adopt new norms and comply with the prescribed SOPs.
