UTM Counselling Centre in collaboration with practicum students of UTM Master in Education (Guidance and Counselling) has organized a “Seminar Kaunseling Keluarga Sakinah”. This seminar was held on May 11, 2013 at Dewan Tun Rahah, Kolej Tun Razak. The program had been participated by the UTM students and staffs.
The objectives of this program are to create awareness among married couples about the importance of having knowledge of the religion for the sake of the whole family, provide exposure to the spouses about the psychology of communication and relationships, and provide a space for married couples to identify their own lack of psychological and spiritual angle.
The speakers of the program are Tuan Haji Omar Bin Haroon (Director of Sapphire Pearl Management Consultant, Singapore), Ustazah Noor Hadayah Bt Hj Ahmad (Psychology Officer of UTM Counselling Centre) and Ms. Hazirah Binti Hashim, also a Psychology Officer of UTM Counselling Centre. Regarding to the objectives, the slot topic of the program includes the “Application of Counselling in Family – Towards Happy Family”, The Psychology of Happy Family” and “Psychological Testing and Analysis – Inventory Scores Styles of Love”. The program was also attended by the Director of the UTM Counselling Centre, Prof Madya Dr. Hj Mohamed Sharif Mustaffa.
