Bermula hari ini, 20 Mac 2017 hingga 23 Mac 2017, YBhg. Datuk Naib Canselor akan berada di Kaohsiung, Taiwan bagi menghadiri The 12th Annual Asia-Pacific Association of International Education Conference and Exhibition (APAIE 2017). Dengan bertemakan ‘New Era, New Horizon, New Frontier: Higher Education in Asia Pacific’, program ini bakal dihadiri oleh wakil tertinggi universiti, naib canselor, rektor dan ketua-ketua pentadbiran universiti dan kementerian pendidikan tinggi dari seluruh dunia yang antaranya membincangkan cabaran dan perkembangan dalam dunia pendidikan tinggi di peringkat global. YBhg. Datuk Naib Canselor UTM akan membentangkan halatuju dan cabaran pendidikan tinggi di Malaysia dalam satu sesi Regional Report. Beliau juga telah dijemput sebagai Ahli Panel dalam The APAIE Presidents’ Roundtable Discussion bertajuk ‘Co-Development of University and Industry: Forging New Partnership’ bersama beberapa orang presiden/ Naib Canselor Universiti daripada beberapa negara.

VICE-CHANCELLOR PARTICIPATING AT THE 12TH ANNUAL ASIA-PACIFIC ASSOCIATION OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION (APAIE 2017) IN TAIWAN (20-23 MARCH 2017)

Commencing today, March 20, 2017 to March 23, 2017, the UTM Vice-Chancellor will be participating in The 12th Annual Asia-Pacific Association of International Education Conference and Exhibition (APAIE 2017) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Based on the theme “New Era, New Horizon, New Frontier: Higher Education in Asia Pacific”, APAIE 2017 which is one of the most significant forums in the Asia-Pacific region will bring together highly ranked representatives from education ministries , as well as vice-chancellors , rectors and heads of university administrators from across the globe. The UTM Vice-Chancellor will be presenting the challenges, direction and latest development in higher education in Malaysia at the Regional Report session. He is also invited to be a panellist in the APAIE Presidents’ Roundtable which will be discussing the “Co-Development of University and Industry: Forging New Partnership”.
