We refer to the Special Announcement made by the Malaysian Prime Minister on the implementation of the Movement Restriction, from 18 March 2020 to 31 March 2020, nationwide.
IMPLEMENTATION OF TEACHING AND LEARNING (PnP)
All PnP activities at UTM including examination, viva, student development activities will be canceled from 18 March 2020 to 31 March 2020.
However, all activities on 17 March 2020 (Tuesday) will be conducted as usual and all staff and students will have to comply with the SOP that has been outlined to manage Covid-19.
EXAMINATION RESCHEDULED
Schedule of Diploma Program’s examinations and other activities involving staff and students will be announced later.
STUDENTS ACCOMMODATION
Students are allowed to return home from 18 March 2020 to 31 March 2020 as instructed.
However, in considering students who have difficulty returning home, they may choose to remain at residential colleges during the shutdown period.
FOOD SERVICE OPERATION
All cafes at UTM will continue to operate but with delivery service or Take Away only.
UTM will issue a more detailed statement tomorrow, 17 March 2020.
University community – Staff and students are required to take notes and take the necessary actions as directed.
