Orientation Activity – Semester II, 2015/2016

The new semester has started again! 
The 2nd Semester intake was held last February 2016 at the Tan Sri Ainuddin Wahid Hall, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA.
Regular practice in UTM, before the actual registration day, all new students are required to undergo an orientation week held by International Student Centre (ISC). Orientation is a period of time at the beginning of the academic year at a university which a variety of events are held to orient and welcome new students.  In this orientation week, student will be exposed to Malaysian Culture through communication and orientation games. This orientation games was held in Malacca. Malacca is a Malaysian state on the Malay Peninsula’s southwest coast. The capital, Malacca City, has a colonial past seen in its preserved town center, the site of 16th-century, Portuguese St. Paul’s Church. It’s also home to Christ Church, built by the Dutch in the 18th century and converted to the Anglican denomination under British rule in the 19th century.  Malacca also recognized as one of the historical city by the UNESCO and famous with a beautiful beach such as Puteri Beach or known in Malay Language as Pantai Puteri.

Tentative Program
9.30am : Depart from UTM campus
12.30pm : Arrived in Puteri Beach, Malacca

2.30pm : Beach Games
5.00pm : Closing & Prize Giving
6.00pm : Leisure time at Malacca City
Attraction : Jonker Street, Taming Sari Tower, Dataran Pahlawan, AFamosa and many more.
8.00pm : Heading back to UTM
