Non Graduating Students (NGS) Inbound Programme allows students from the overseas universities, who are attached to the relevant faculty for academic programme such as academic training, industrial training, research collaboration

Application Procedures:
Application of programme
i. Applicants are allowed to apply for the programme either through the faculty or The Office of International Affairs by using the application form.
ii. Application Letter and Application Form need to be submitted to the Office of International Affairs 2 months before the arrival of applicants.
iii. For application through faculty, earlier (more than 2 months) submission of application to the faculty is encouraged for faculty evaluation.
iv. For the application through Office of International Affairs, subjects offered by the faculty will be presented to the applicants if the application is ACCEPTED by the faculty. If the applicants cannot agree on the subject offered, application will be called off.
v. Offer letter will be issued to the applicants and respective faculty if the application is successful.
Procedures after arrival
i. Register to residential college.
ii. Registration to School of Postgraduate Studies for post-graduate students.
iii. Activation of ISID number at Academic Management Unit for undergraduate students,
iv. Payment of education fee needs at the Bursar Office.
v. Registration to faculty.
vi. Medical checkup at the Health Centre of university.
vii. Visa application at International Student Centre in UTM.
Documents needed for Visa Application
- 4 pieces of passport-size photographs
- Photocopy of passport (Entrance stamp and front page)
- Photocopy of offer letter
viii. After the programme is ended, a programme report will be prepared by the faculty.
ix. Certificate will be issued to the students after reviewing the programme report by the Office of International Affairs.
