Faculty of Electrical Engineering major fields of research spread broadly across the whole spectrum of electrical engineering disciplines, as listed below. Graduate students should choose to carry out research in any of the areas of studies stated. The faculty is organized into eight departments and four centres of excellence. However, research activities are generally classified into four categories, which are: communications, control, electronics and power.
