On 25 and 26 February 2015 , the UTM Vice-Chancellor, together with Prof. Ir . Dr. Abu Sahmah Mohd Supa’at , Dean of Research Alliance (Innovative Engineering) and Prof. Dr. Sevia M Idrus, Deputy Director of Innovation & Commercialization Centre (ICC) will be attending the ASEAN-NICT ICT Round Table 2015 at Grande Centre Point Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. UTM’s participation in the roundtable discussion, which will also be attended by representatives of all ASEAN member countries, is by special invitation from the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology of Japan (NICT). Among the agenda of this roundtable discussion include presentation on the future direction of Research and Development of Japan-ASEAN, promotion of ICT R&D of invited institutions (including UTM) and the discussion on collaborative strategy in establishing the ASEAN -Japan ICT Virtual Institute.
