Late Returns of Convocation Attire
- A penalty of “RM5.00/working day” will be imposed if the graduates fail to return the dress within the given time. The charges will be based on the total number of working days until the convocation dress is returned. However, all late returns which exceed the period of 1 month (31 working days) will be charged with the maximum penalty rate of RM300.00.
- The degree/ diploma of the graduate will be withheld until the penalty has been paid. Please ensure that collections and returns of convocation dress should be attached with the receipts.
Alterations/ Loss/ Damage to the Convocation Attire
- Graduates are not allowed to make any alterations (i.e. sewing the sleeves or length of the dress) on any of the convocation attire. A fine will be imposed for any alterations made without the university’s permission.
- The minimum charge for any alterations made to the convocation attire is RM50.00. Higher charges will be imposed depending on the extent of the alterations and damages. Graduates will be required to settle all outstanding bills before collecting their degree/ diploma.
- Damages or loss of the Convocation Attire will incur the following costs:
