Automotive Development Centre (ADC) was formed in 1997 to consolidate research efforts in the area of automotive engineering in UTM. ADC now comes under the Institute of Vehicle Systems and Engineering (IVESE) as one of its four core research centres.

COMMISSIONING AND INTEGRATION WORKS FOR WATER PUMP TEST RIG (UPGRADING 2 INCH SIZE) AT KEWPUMP (M) SDN BHD, IPOH, PERAK, 27/11/2017-29/11/2017

Commissioning and integration (software and DAQ) works on water pump test rig at Kewpump (M) Sdn Bhd on 27/11/2017 – 29/11/2017. The factory located at Batu Gajah, Ipoh, Perak. The work is focusing on the upgrading the rig  of 2 inch with installation of torque meter.

MALAYSIA DRIVING CYCLE PROGRAM: ON THE ROAD TEST FOR JOHOR ROUTE (OCTOBER & DECEMBER 2017)

This program is to develop harmonized light duty test cycle which will represent typical conditions for Malaysia by collect of in-use driving data. The test conditions are based on driving routes (urban, rural and motorway) and driving period (on&off-peak weekday and weekend). This program was initiated by Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) in collaboration with PROTON.
This MDC test has covered the Johor route for four (4) weeks.
